Clinical supervision can be a place to pause, make sense of complexity, and reconnect with why you became an occupational therapist in the first place.
I offer supervision for OTs who want thoughtful, reflective support with their clinical work, whether you’re navigating uncertainty, holding emotionally complex cases, working in mental health, or trying to find your feet (or your confidence) again in the profession.
My approach to supervision is relational and values-led. I’m interested not just in whatyou do, but how you think, how you make decisions, and how your own experiences and professional identity show up in the work.
Supervision with me is a space to reflect, integrate theory and practice, and feel less alone in the complexity of OT practice.
I understand the self-doubt, ethical tension, and ambiguity that can come with OT practice, and the difference it makes to have a supervisor who can hold that with you, rather than rush to answers.
I’m an experienced occupational therapist with a background in mental health and neurodivergent-affirming practice.
Alongside my OT training, I draw on approaches including ACT, DBT skills, EMDR, and sensory based approaches.
I have also previously worked as an associate within autism assessment pathways and integrate occupational and sensory perspectives into assessment thinking.
If you’re looking for clinical supervision that supports reflection, confidence, and professional integrity, you’re very welcome to get in touch to discuss your needs.
This is supervision that makes space to think, feel, reflect, and reconnectwith your values, so your practice can feel more grounded, sustainable, and authentically yours.
Supervision is an opportunity to bring someone back to their own mind, to show them how good they can be.
My Professional Experience
Does anybody else find it difficult to write about themselves?
I’ve shared a little about my professional experience below, as this can be helpful when considering whether I might be a good fit for you as a clinical supervisor. Supervision works best when there is a good relational and professional fit, so if you’re very welcome to get in touch via the contact form or book in a free introductory call if you’d like to talk it through.
Independent Practice:
My current role is in independent practice, where I offer neuroaffirming, trauma-informed occupational therapy. I work remotely with adults, adolescents, and parents, supporting mental health, autism, ADHD, sensory processing, identity, and sustainable engagement in everyday life. Alongside this, I deliver occupation-centred training and reflective practice for fellow occupational therapists, as well as facilitating away days and speaking at events for both small organisations and corporate teams.
Mental Health:
My background in mental health spans community, outpatient, and inpatient services. I have worked with people experiencing a wide range of psychological distress, and my practice has always been grounded in occupational perspectives, with particular attention to meaning, routine, sensory modulation, identity, and the therapeutic use of self.
Autism Diagnostic Services and Post-Diagnostic Support:
I have worked within autism diagnostic services and provide post-diagnostic support for autistic individuals and those with ADHD. Within this role I developed a strong occupational and sensory lens to assessment thinking, particularly around participation, regulation, and lived experience.
Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS):
I have experience delivering interventions within CAMHS across both inpatient and outpatient pathways, supporting children and young people with diverse mental health presentations, including neurodevelopmental differences.
Learning Disabilities:
I have experience working with individuals with learning disabilities across both community and inpatient settings, often alongside co-occurring mental health needs. This work has involved supporting participation, regulation, and everyday functioning within complex systems, alongside multidisciplinary teams.
Eating Disorders, Addictions, and Psychiatric Intensive Care Units (PICU):
I have supported teams delivering interventions within eating disorder services, addiction services, and Psychiatric Intensive Care Units (PICU). I have also supervised occupational therapists working within these settings, where the clinical work is often complex, high-risk, and emotionally demanding.
Leadership and Senior Management:
I have managed OT teams and therapy departments within mental health hospitals and outpatient services. This has included experience in service development, audits, investigations, staff support, and navigating team dynamics within pressured systems.
I have held several senior leadership roles, including Hospital Director, Therapy Business Manager, and Clinical Services Director. These roles have given me in-depth experience of service governance, regulatory frameworks such as the CQC, and the realities of balancing clinical, organisational, and human needs..
All of this experience shapes how I approach clinical supervision. I offer a reflective, relational space that acknowledges the complexity of OT practice, supporting you to think clearly, reflect deeply, reconnect with your values, and feel more grounded and confident in your professional role.
